AIDC Co-Creation Project Featured in Business Today, Unveiling Taiwan's Drone Industry Blueprint

The Asia International Drone Club (AIDC) was recently featured in Business Today magazine for its visionary efforts in shaping the future of Taiwan’s drone industry. Led by a team of drone professionals—including founder Chang Yi-Shou, COO Hsu Kai-Hsiang, and a panel of industry experts—AIDC is building a comprehensive base for drone training, certification, and applications.

Based in Taichung, the club operates on a 12-hectare site equipped with farmland, accommodations, and large-scale conference spaces, offering drone enthusiasts an all-inclusive environment for learning and experimentation.

From Training to Regulation: Comprehensive Support

As drone regulations in Taiwan grow increasingly stringent, AIDC provides:

  • Professional license training

  • Airspace application assistance

  • Certified flight zones and facilities

These services help students and professionals quickly master drone operations in a safe and legal environment.

Looking Ahead: Professional Leagues & Educational Partnerships

In the near future, AIDC will launch professional drone competitions and form alliances with local schools to integrate drone education into curricula—empowering a new generation of UAV professionals.

Founder Chang Yi-Shou has transformed family-owned land into a training hub and is actively building partnerships with international experts and enterprises. As the drone industry accelerates globally, AIDC is positioning Taiwan as a regional leader through drone leagues, industry alliances, and professional career pathways.

“We’re not just offering drone training—we’re co-creating Taiwan’s future in UAV development. Our goal is to build the country’s first ‘Drone Starter Village’.”
— Founder, Chang Yi-Shou
